Matrona Law represents clients in a variety of areas, including commercial leasing, construction law, estate litigation, real estate litigation, corporate contract disputes, and tort law. Further, Matrona Law also represents clients in the appellate courts.
In addition to litigation, the firm offers representation in contract drafting and negotiation in corporate and commercial law.
As part of the Estates Division, the firm handles estate matters including, wills, probate, estate challenges in court and estate litigation.
Niki is a litigator with a practice focused primarily on corporate and commercial litigation, litigating in contract and tort law. Niki completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and went on to study law and then earn a Master of Law specializing in intellectual property in the United States. She founded Matrona Law in 2018.
She has appeared at the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice and various tribunals.
Aside from the practice of law, she teaches law part-time at Seneca College and has contributed to two business law textbooks. She is currently writing a textbook focused on legal philosophy and jurisprudence.
She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Lawyers’ Association.
